Intensive Language Training Week – Erasmus+ Staff Week

You are an administrative or teaching staff and you are willing to learn, improve and/or practice French or English? Consider this five-day intensive training and join our Summer School programs along participants coming from all around the world!

This training is not only limited to Staff Week participants and you will share your time in class and during the activities with all kind of other participants.

Content

The objective of the course is to build skills in comprehension, production and interaction in writing and speaking.

Two languages available: French or English. No minimum level is required. Participants must take an online placement test before the start of the course. We reserve the right to cancel a class if there is not enough participants.

Delivery: in-person only

Location: Maison des Langues et de l’International (MLi), Campus 1, Université de Caen Normandie.

Fees

350 euros. Participants are expected to obtain Erasmus+ Staff Mobility grants from their home institutions.

Included:

  • 22,5 hours of face-to-face courses
  • Welcome breakfast on the first day
  • Snacks and fresh drinks every morning between classes
  • 1 lunch meal at the university restaurant on the first day
  • Guided tours of the campus, the city of Caen,
  • Visit of the park “la Colline aux Oiseaux” and the Abbaye aux Hommes (activities given for information only, subject to modification)
  • A certificate of participation at the end of the session

For a supplement of 30 euros:

  • Participants have the possibility to register for a day-trip to the famous landmark, the Mont-Saint-Michel (includes transportation and self-guided visit) on Saturday, June 21.
